Hot Line Base Plate
The Hot Line Base Plate is an innovative solution to temporarily hold a conductor in place during planned construction or emergency repairs. The Hot Line Base Plate straps to the pole using heavy duty ratchet straps to hold it in place.
The Hot Line Base Plate consists of an aluminum weldment with 2 straps and 2 mounting bolts for mounting insulators. An optional upper bracket can be purchased to increase capacity.

The Problem
Many live transmission line tools do not have the load rating needed to handle transmission conductors.
Our Solution
The Hot Line Base Plate allows transmission crews to install a non-ceramic insulator on a tubular steel, concrete or wood pole without the need of boring holes or unique banding when holding a conductor in place during planned construction or emergency repairs.
