LineWise®, a division of Diversified Product Development, has launched its new Tri-Bundle Line Cart, a customizable, self-propelled platform engineered for high-voltage transmission line construction, maintenance, and inspection.
The cart is designed for use with either two- or three-bundle configurations and emphasizes safety and operator comfort. It can be powered by a rechargeable lithium battery system — featuring dual 48V, 30Ah batteries — or a gas-engine-driven hydraulic system, offering users flexibility based on project demands.
Key safety and usability features include non-slip rubber drive wheels capable of operating on 20-degree inclines at speeds up to 4 mph, a joystick control system, a parking brake, and electric linear actuators for articulated wheel movement. The line cart also allows for safe mounting on conductors using a cradle for cranes or helicopters and includes built-in safety tubes to prevent derailment.
Additional ergonomic touches include retractable spacer hooks, a non-slip floor, and a folding seat. The cart is constructed from high-strength aluminum alloy, supports a 600-pound capacity with one-person occupancy, and can be configured for bonded work applications.
