Columbus, Ohio – The LineWise crew enjoyed 4 days at the ESMO (Engineering Safety & Maintenance of Overhead Lines). This conference was unique as it had dedicated days for indoor (panel discussions, seminars, exhibitor booths) and outdoor locations (live product demonstrations).
Inside the convention center
The indoor conference was held at the Convention Center in Downtown Columbus and we had a 10X10 booth where we revealed our newest product, the TLL-500A. We received a lot of interest and feedback on this product and enjoyed the conversations with others in the utility industry. We also had our Hot Jib, Roller Lifters, Hot Line Base Plate and Buddy Bushings displayed.
Ouside at the aep substation
The outdoor conference was held at AEP’s Bixby Substation in Groveport, Ohio, where we had 4 demonstrations of the TLL-1300. We partnered with our current customer, Northline Utilities who graciously agreed to bring their own TLL-1300 unit to demonstrate at the show. Northline had a full crew and each TLL-1300 demonstration was a huge hit. We were able to visit with current customers, brainstorm and learn more about their unique jobs, and come up with ideas on how to make them more safe and efficient.
Overall, ESMO was a very successful show. We made new contacts with people from all around the world and are looking forward to creating working relationships with these contacts.
